FROM KANSAS CITY TO CHICAGO - A Story of Roots and Resilience

Born in Kansas City, MO, I was adopted at eight months old and eventually made Chicago my home. I moved to Chicago to take my singing career to the next level, performing blues and neo-soul on stages across the city. Nearly 20 years ago, I released my first album, but eventually stepped away from music — setting aside a part of myself that once felt so alive.

Discovering a Passion for Marketing and Entrepreneurship

While in Chicago, I also discovered a love for marketing. Promoting the artists I shared the stage with sparked a new passion, and that led me to launch my own marketing agency, www.olashay.com. What started as supporting fellow musicians quickly grew into a career where I became the marketing department for several entrepreneurs and businesses. Along the way, I expanded my skills in branding, digital strategy, and content creation — building a foundation that still fuels my work today.

10 YEARS IN AVIATION - A Journey of Traveland Self-Discovery

Later, I joined the aviation industry, where I built a career that lasted over 10 years. Aviation gave me the chance to travel the world, explore different cultures, and truly discover myself in ways I never expected.

My love for travel had always stirred a desire to live abroad. After walking through the painful ending of my marriage, I made the decision to step into a new chapter of life. I left behind the familiar and moved to Thailand, where I embraced healing, self-discovery, and freedom. That season of transformation became the heartbeat of All of the Things Podcast.

As an empath and storyteller, I use my voice to hold space for conversations on resilience, healing, self-love, and life abroad. I know what it’s like to silence your voice, and I know what it’s like to reclaim it.
